Novapuu with soap base

The wooden soap tray keeps the soaps and bar shampoos more hygienic and allows them to dry between uses.

Made in Finland from strong and high-quality alder, which has been heat-treated in an environmentally friendly way to increase the wood's moisture resistance and provide protection from bacteria. The heat treatment emphasizes the beautiful even color of the wood and gives the alder used in soap dishes the characteristic fresh scent.

The soap base is treated with pure paraffin oil, which gives the wood even more protection from moisture and helps keep it hygienic.

Paraffin oil is absorbed deep into the grain of the wood, effectively repels water and prevents dirt from sticking to the surface of the soap dish.

Paraffin oil does not release color when wet or become rancid in use, like some oils pressed from plants used for surface treatment of wood. It gives the heat-treated alder a wonderful dark shade and emphasizes its enchanting grain patterns.

Each soap tray is made and finished by hand, thus guaranteeing the high quality of the product.
